A little about us:
Holt's racing has been around for many years, but only open to the public for the past 15 years. We are a family owned & operated business. There 3 of us that are actually involved in the business.
Billy "Cigar" Holt This is the backbone of the operation. Cigar Holt was born with racing in his blood, he started out working on mini-bikes as a kid and grew up form there. He was once a terror on the streets in Decatur, AL in the early 1950's. After many tickets & fines, and a tour in the Korean War, he decided to take his skills to the track. Once, one of the most talented and competitive racers in the southeast, he decided to hang up his driving suit and live a normal life in the mid 1970's. Though out of the drivers seat, Cigar couldn't keep the racing bug out of his system, so in the early 1980's he decided to offer his engine building expertise to the public. Cigar had been building engines for other drivers, friends and shine runners since the 1950's, so experience is not lacking up in that head of his.
Billy "Pete" Holt, jr. The oldest of 2 boys Pete is the fabricator of the bunch. In that head of his, he can fab just about anything needed. He is the maker of all custom roll cages, suspension components, and anything else needed around the shop.
Keith "Cigar II" Holt This is the youngin of the bunch. Working at the family business since he was 14, he has tried to absorb all the knowledge that Cigar has to offer. Keith is the machinist and electrical man at Holt's Racing & automotive machine. As of right now, keith is currently serving in Iraq as part of OIF II.
